The Story
Hello again my friends, I know it’s been a bit and I have truly missed you! 2025 was a ride for many of us and I am really excited to see what 2026 has in store for us and put last year in the review mirror. If you have been following me for a bit you know I haven’t been posting as much on anywhere over the past year. This was never my intention but events kind of overtook me. In the spring one of the kiddos was diagnosed with an additional special need and I ended up spending much of my time arranging appointments and working with the school to get all of the additional resources we could. The summer was spent in the usual summer way but went by way faster and with much less done than I had hoped. We started the new school year with everything in place for the kiddo and I was planning to get back to my usual schedule once things were running smoothly. But, as often happens when we think we have a plan, life had other ideas. Some medical symptoms I had been dealing with for awhile decided to surge and turn from something I occasionally dealt with to something I really needed to sit up and pay attention to. It got to the point I had to scale way back on many of the things I would normally do with my time and change my relationship with my body. Many medical tests and amazing medical professionals later, I now have some answers and a treatment plan for a shiny new chronic illness diagnosis. The year ended with us trying to deal with the aftermath of a truly crazy year, me figuring out how to rearrange my life to let me be more functional, and lots of hopes for the incoming year.

The Plan
So there was my story, and now here is my plan! With everything going on in our lives, I really need to make this business work. A flexible schedule doing something I absolutely love is everything I could ask for, but I need to rededicate myself to this passion and change the way I have been trying to do things. The method I followed before doesn’t really work well for me and even though I was following all the tried and tested recommendations from those who have walked this path before me, I don’t think their methods are necessarily right for me and the way I work best. So what does that mean for you dear friend? Things are going to be slightly different. Different schedules, different content, sometimes randomly or haphazardly brought to you – for at least a little bit. Like I am constantly telling B, “You just have to do the (creative) thing, just get it on paper, you’ll figure out the rest later – pick up the pencil, start (doing it).” So, I will be taking my own advice and just starting. I may post when the mood strikes, randomly stream on my Twitch when I have a few free hours, and change up my Etsy listings without rhyme or reason. My goal is that by doing things this way, perhaps a natural schedule and path forward will show itself and then I can try to work with that. I ask you for your patience and understanding, and your continued support. Every post read, video liked, comment shared, and purchase made means the world to me and I cannot express adequately how much I treasure each one, and each one of you.

What We Can Look Forward To…
And now, let’s look forward to a new year full of many fun and exciting adventures. I have planned a whole slew of Disney World travel blogs, from traveling with special needs family members to the best meal we have ever had on property. I am dying to return to my Minecraft long play series where I try to collect a double chest of every item before I can use it and bring you along to watch my blunders and frustrations while chatting about life and having a ton of fun. My Etsy shop will soon be revitalized and look for possible sales on older product, new products posted, and the launch of a favorite project of mine, hand sculpted paper flowers! Also stick around for updates about our foster animals and their amazing stories of resilience and adorableness. I really do appreciate each and every one of you and I hope you have as an amazing of a year as I am hoping for. You are amazing and I care about you!
